The international exhibition of gypsy painting and sculpture "Akathe te beshen, sastipen thaj mestepen. (Here we stay, health and freedom)" could be visited from November 25 to January 7, 2018 at the Federico García Lorca Center. The exhibition, curated by Moritz Pancok of the Kai Dikhas gallery in Berlin, was organized by the Federico García Lorca Center and the Institute for Roma Culture and has the collaboration of the Goethe Institute and the RomArchive.
The exhibition, which has already been seen in other European countries such as France and Germany, exhibited the work of artists from various European countries, mostly Roma, with pieces of painting, audiovisual performance, illustration, and sculpture.
The participating artists were: Daniel Baker, Lita Cabellut, Gérard Gartner, Gabi Jiménez, Lola Ferreruela, Juan Rafael Ferreruela, Manolo Gómez Romero, Henrik Kállai, Damian Le Bas, Delaine Le Bas, Valérie Leray, Tamara Moyzes, Nihad Nino Pušija, Ceija Stojka, Antonio M. Suárez Saavedra, Imrich Tomáš, Alfred Ullrich, Kálmán Várady, George Vasilescu, David Weiss, David Zafra.
